Payment Options

If you have received a shut-off notice, payment must be received in the office prior to 4 PM the business day BEFORE service is scheduled to be disconnected.

Self-Service Options

MyENSTAR is an online self-service portal for accessing your account. Through MyENSTAR you can mange your account in a variety of ways including: making payments, signing up for autopay, or reviewing your billing history. 

Our Online Forms Library also offers a variety of ways for you to manage your account by allowing you to instantly fill out, sign, and submit forms online. 

Pay with a Credit or Debit Card

You can pay your gas bill with VISA, Discover, or Mastercard. Payments can be made in our customer lobbies, online, or over the phone, and are processed through a third-party provider. You have the option of making a one-time payment or setting up automatic payments. There is no additional fee for using a credit card.

Pay by Phone or Online

Payments may take up to three business days to post to your ENSTAR account.  If you have received a shut off notice or if your gas has been shut off, you must contact ENSTAR Customer Service at 1-877-907-9767.

ENSTAR utilizes an independent service provider to handle online and phone payments. Our third-party payment processor accepts credit, debit, and electronic check payments.

You can pay online or via our Automated Phone System: 1-888-534-6940.

Note: There is no fee to pay through this service. There is a maximum limit of $60,000 per account on transactions using bank accounts and $20,000 per account on transactions using credit/debit cards. Visa, Mastercard, and Discover are accepted.

Pay in the Office

ENSTAR accepts cash, check, money order, credit cards, and non-pin based debit cards. Please note we accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.

ENSTAR has three locations for payments. Each location offers 24/7 payment kiosks which accept cash, check, and credit or debit cards.

There are also night drop boxes at each payment location and the operation office in Anchorage. Payments made in the night drop boxes may take up to 48 hours to post to your account.

When you provide a check as payment, you authorize ENSTAR to use information from your check to either make a one-time electronic fund transfer from your account, or to process the payment as a check transaction. For inquiries please contact Customer Service.

Annual Pay

By paying an annual amount, estimated on the prior year’s usage and calculated by the current rate, ENSTAR will credit your account an additional $25. Contact Customer Service to get an estimate.

Auto Pay Program

Sign up for AutoPay with your credit card or bank account.  Once enrolled, your ENSTAR bill will be automatically charged to your credit card or withdrawn from your checking or savings account each month. Click Here for more information.

Bill Pay

Many banks and credit unions offer a bill pay option. From your banking website, you are able to set up a recurring or a one-time payment to ENSTAR. There is no fee from ENSTAR for this service. For more information, contact your bank or credit union.

ENSTAR's Interactive Call Center

ENSTAR's Call Center provides you with information about your account 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

You are able to receive the following Billing information:

  • When your most recent payment was received
  • The amount of your payment
  • Your current amount due
  • Information regarding your payment history
  • Information regarding your billing history
  • Your previous year’s total payments

The system can also provide you information regarding:

  • Budget Billing program
  • Bank Draft payment option
  • Office hours and locations
  • ENSTAR’s Holiday Schedule

You can request the following information be faxed to you:

  • Payment history
  • Billing history
  • Prior year’s total payments

Pay at Walmart

Visit any Walmart MoneyCenter or customer service desk.

Be sure to bring the following:

  • Cash or a PIN-based debit card only (Check or Credit Card not accepted)
    • Cash or a PIN-based debit card only (Check or Credit Card not accepted)
    • Your current billing statement with ENSTAR account number
  • Your current billing statement with ENSTAR account number
  • Transaction fees will apply and be paid to Walmart for this convenience
    • Standard payment: $1.00 delivered within three business days
    • Next Day Payment: $1.50 delivered on the next available business day

Payment(s) must be made by 3PM in order to be processed on the next business day. Since this service is a benefit Walmart provides, please retain your receipt for ENSTAR verification. For more information on Walmart payment options, visit www.walmart.com/ billpayment.

Customer Warning: Doxo.com Third-Party Payment Website

There is an online bill pay website called Doxo.com. While it appears to be affiliated with ENSTAR, it is not.
 
Doxo.com is third-party website that allows people to pay their natural gas bills via their site. However, doxo.com may charge customers extra fees, and ENSTAR cannot control when we will receive the payments from doxo.com, possibly resulting in a late payment fee being applied to your account or even disconnection due to non-payment.
 
To make sure you’re paying ENSTAR directly, submit payment through your MyENSTAR account or use one of the payment options listed above.
